Celebrate your new life in Christ: Take the next step and get baptised at Destiny Temple.
Baptism is a meaningful step of faith and obedience in every believer’s journey with Jesus. While baptism doesn’t save us, it’s a public declaration of our decision to follow Him and live according to His Word. It represents the forgiveness of our sins and the new life we have in Christ. This is a moment worth celebrating — a powerful milestone that marks a new chapter in your walk with Jesus and a deeper commitment to living out your faith.
“And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.”
Is baptism your next step of faith?
For those who follow Jesus, baptism is a way of following His example. In Matthew 3:16, we read how Jesus was baptised before beginning His ministry, setting an example for us to follow. When we choose to be baptised, we take a step of obedience and put God’s Word into practice (Matthew 28:19).
Baptism also represents the work Jesus has done in our lives. Just as He died, was buried, and rose again, baptism symbolises leaving our old life behind and stepping into a new life with Him (Romans 6:4).
